I am a long time fan of Shawn Brooks, but I felt that the way he described his book on parenting was too simplified. While I certainly can relate to the author’s experiences, his suggestions for parenting aren’t an easy read for everyone.
Shawn Brooks seems to have been a very good father. While he did say that the book wasnt for everyone, I thought that his suggestions were very helpful for parents who are looking for a way to get their kids re-enrolled into a local church, or at least some sort of counseling. I think that it is very important to have a lot of different types of parenting techniques, as well as the ability to find a good therapist.
It seems to be a very common theme here that people with children often struggle with the same things that we do. Shawn Brooks has a great suggestion for those parents in the same situation.
